The 25-year-old singer was completely floored with the honor given to her by the 5-time NBA champion. Bryant started off by saying that 16 is a special number because that's the same amount of titles that the Los Angeles Lakers have. He added that to celebrate those championships they do something special and that is hanging banners.
Bryant then pointed as the banner unfolded and Swift hugged him after to express her gratitude.

The recognition was extra special because it was given on the first of her five-night, sold out "1989" shows at the Staples Center.
Some of the stars present that night were Joe Jonas and girlfriend Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Serena Williams, "Bad Blood" video star Mariska Hargitay, Ciara, Katherine Schwarzenegger, Fetty Wap, Russell Wilson, Little Mix, and Mark Wahlberg who took his daughter Ella as his birthday present to her.
Swift also shared the stage with OneRepublic singer Ryan Tedder who co-wrote two songs in her album-"Welcome to New York" and "I Know Places." They also sang a duet of the band's hit song "Counting Stars."
