Amell further adds that having Bruce Wayne/Batman in the same TV universe will be "tough," but he is very optimistic about the possibility.

"In the same way that [Ezra Miller's] character playing the Flash in the cinematic universe - theoretically, we haven't seen him yet - I see no reason why we couldn't have our own Bruce Wayne. That's my opinion; that might not be DC's opinion, and they're the bosses."

It is said that Amell's TV series co-star David Ramsey previously hinted that he wanted to see Bruce Wayne in Starling City as opposed to his alter-ego, Batman, but the chance of him appearing in sesson 4 could be very slim.

DC Entertainment made it clear that the practice of both TV and movie projects will not be connected with one another, an action that separates them from Marvel, stating that both are in a different universe of their own.

The first possible citing of Batman crossing over the Arrow/Flash TV universe was in the end credits of pilot episode of "The Flash" were in the future news article hinted a merge between Wayne Tech and Queen Inc.

Damien Darhk in the show was once an ally-turned-enemyof Ra's Al Ghul and unlike any of Oliver's past enemies he is described as "sociopath" and is "pure evil."

Mericle hinted that the two could team-up knowing that Malcolm is the head of the League of Assassins, and Oliver and the rest of team Arrow still has issues with him, they will likely fight again in different sides; However, previous reports stated that Malcolm could also ally himself again with Oliver to fight Darhk or be a third party as John Barrowman teased that he wanted to let the fans guessing as to what allegiance will Malcolm take in season 4.
