'No Man's Sky' Release Date: Xbox One And Mac Versions To Follow Soon; VR Support, Pre-Order Details Revealed!

According to Venture Capital Post, retailing website Amazon UK has listed a pre-order details for "No Man's Sky" for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms with a price tag of £46.85 ($73 USD).

Hello Games has announced before that "No Man's Sky" will be released this year; however, it was reported before that the game will likely launch on 2016 as game developer Sean Murray stated that they wanted the game to be "perfect" as possible before launching it in the market.

Hello Games have vaguely announced a 2015 launch to the PS4 and PC platforms and yet they are making gamers guessing as to when and what month will it launch, possibly indicating that the 2016 launch window could likely happen.

There are also rumors of a possible Xbox One and Mac versions of the game once the PS4 and PC copies have been launched. Mac users are urged to install Windows-based programs in order to play "No Man's Sky."

As for the Xbox One version, Chris Carla, director of of ID@Xbox, claimed that a workaround parity clause will be in place to have Hello Game's permission to launch the game for the console.

Murray also adds that VR gameplay for "No Man's Sky" happen at some point, but Sony CEO Shawn Layden stated that the PS4 and Project Morpheus is not suited for a 50 hour gameplay when dealing with that kind of game, although "No Man's Sky" was never mentioned.

PC gamers will likely experience VR gameplay in "No Man's Sky," using the Oculus Rift first before making its way to Project Morpheus or other VR headsets.

So far, Hello Games has not made any statement regarding legitimacy of the the pre-order contents within Amazon UK.

Aside from the pre-order details, Murray has also discuss several new game details for "No Man's Sky" during a recent interview.

According to Murray, players wiill not only discover several quintillion planets in "No Man's Sky," but it will include other various stars and planets across multitudes of universes that will take them years to discover when they started to play the game.

Murray also adds that "No Man's Sky" will not be just some space exploration simulation as Hello Games will intend to do more like adding weather events such as blizzards, dusk storms, heavy rain storms etc. to radioactive and toxic atmospheres. He also adds that their will be different factions in the game and players can join or fight against them, or be a neutral third party.

Design & Trend reports that Murray shared a part of his life in making "No Man's Sky" which led to a limitless gameplay from Twicth, Chaos and Crisis. The website stated that the limitless gameplay came from "No Man's Sky's" early development process. Murray admitted that finding and conceptualizing a new product was very hard as he recalls a "mid-life game development crisis" and started to question what he was actually doing at the time.

"No Man's Sky" will have a simultaneous launch for the PS4 and PC platform as Hello Games will be announcing the official launch date of the game very soon.
