Get ready DC fans as new details, rumors and spoilers for "The Flash" season 2 have been revealed two new characters, a returning season 1 cast member and Zoom's possible identity in the show.

According to Screenrant, two new characters are being introduced in "The Flash" season 2 as new cast members "Hemlock Grove" star Demores Barnes and new comer Violette Beane will play hero and villain within the show.

Barnes in the show will play Henry Hewitt, a.k.a. Tokamak, in the show as the website wrote that his character will be the "new guy" in S.T.A.R. Labs and in Team Flash. He is described as both "charming and cocky" and has been one the people affected by the particle accelerator explosion in season 1 making him metahuman when he debuts in season 2 and has an agenda of becoming the most powerful metahuman in the world, which spells trouble for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Caithlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco Ramon (Calos Valdes). Tokamak in the comics is an enemy of Firestorm and has the ability to manipulate energy via his containment suit.

Beane on the other hand will play Jesse Quick in season 2. Jesse Quick real name Jesse Chambers in the DC comics is another speedster and hero in The Flash family. She is the daughter of two Golden Age heroes, Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle as she both inherited her parents powers; super speed from her father and super strength from her mother.

Jesse Chamber's in the show is described as a "brilliant but quirky" college student in Central City and she will be featured in multiple episodes being caught between The Flash and the new villain Zoom, ComingSoon reported.

Aside from the new cast and characters, ComicBook reported that Malese Jow will reprise her role as Linda Park in season 2. Executive Producer Gabrielle Stanton stated in an interview that Linda will return to the show as Iris West's friend and collegue in Central Picture News and her past relationship with Barry will put both Iris and The Flash in an "unexpected danger." Barry and Iris became a couple for a short time in season 1 and with Wally West being introduced to the show, will fans see Wally and Iris get romantic similar to the comics soon?

It was previously reported that Zoom in "The Flash" season 2 could be a different person than originally thought out. YouTube channel Emergency Awesome theorized that the Zoom could be a future version of Barry Allen instead of the original character, Hunter Zolomon.

Future Barry Allen wore a blue Flash suit in the New 52 continuity and the new Zoom in the teaser has the same blue outfit and lighting streak, which likely fits the mold. Future Barry Allen in the comics travels back in time to fix the mistakes he made and prevent Wally West from being killed, which led him in a dark and dangerous path which meant killing off past versions of him and unintentionally destroying time itself.
