Mariah Carey denies recent rumors that she is pregnant with James Packer's baby. The "Without You" diva claims that although she is spending a lot of time with the billionaire they are not ready to start a family together.

New Idea, via Daily Mail, previously reported that Carey is expecting her first child with her new boyfriend. Insiders claim the couple received the news early this month. The publication held that the two were "overjoyed" when they found out about the baby.

"She adores James and it's well-known within her social circle that she would love to have children with him," the insider shared.

The singer's reps, however, were quick to deny the rumors. Carey's camp told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is far from settling down. They said that the two wanted to take things slow and starting a family is not in their plans as of the moment.

With the former "American Idol" judge's Las Vegas residency at Caesar's Place, it was said that she did not have much time to think about having another baby.

Reports of Carey and Packer getting engaged have started circulating online back when they first announced their relationship in June. Sources close to the billionaire confirmed that Packer has always been "obsessed" with the singer. They held that he "aggressively" pursued her and would never let her go.

In 2014, Carey filed a divorce against her husband Nick Cannon. According to Mirror, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement that included a confidentiality clause, which prevented either party to talk about the reason for divorce.

It has been rumored that Carey is doing her best to expedite the divorce so that she can get married to Packer. Cannon, however, was allegedly dragging his feet in terms of discussing the settlement.

Insiders claim that the producer may still have feelings for Carey. Cannon allegedly thought that the singer would eventually change her mind and take him back.
