Good news Marvel fans as new updates for the "Doctor Strange" movie have been revealed regarding new plot details about the film's theme and new cast members playing the main villains.

According to reports from Screenrant, "Hannibal" TV series star "Mads Mikkelson is in talks with Marvel about playing a villainous character in the "Doctor Strange" movie opposite "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch, who has confirmed the role of Doctor Stephen Strange during the D23 Expo 2015 event.

Athough it is not yet stated what kind of villain will Mikkelson play in the film, but the website speculated that the "Hannibal" star's role could be the inter-dimensional lord of chaos, Dormammu. Dormammu in the Marvel comics is a powerful demon and ruler of the Dark Dimension. He is depicted as the arch-nemesis Doctor Strange as they have clashed several times in the comics, and he has other run ins with other heroes such as the Avengers, X-Men and Ghost Rider.

Aside from Mikkelson, Movie News Guide reports that "12 Years of Slave" and "2013" star Chiwetel Ejiofor is hinted to play another villain in the film in the form of Baron Mordo. The website cited that Ejiofor will be doing a lot of magic in film and he is excited to work with Cumberbatch as both actors are good friends in real life.

In the Marvel comics, Baron Mordo was one of the sorcerers trained by the Ancient One and holds a grudge againts him after he has chosen Stephen Strange for the mantle Sorcerer Supreme, which led to a long standing rivalry between the two.

It was reported before that "Mean Girls" star Rachel McAdams will likely play one of Doctor Strange's possible love interest, Clea and Morgana Blessing as Tilda Swinton will be playin a female version of the Ancient One in "Doctor Strange" the movie.

The Christian Today reportedly claimed that the "Doctor Strange" movie theme is described as Marvel's own version of "Fantasia" and "Inception" since film will introduce magic and mysticism in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel president Kevin Feige hinted before that the film will have a mind blowing twist which will affect future Marvel films.

"Doctor Strange" movie is scheduled to be release in cinemas on Nov. 4, 2016.
