The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor was there at the premiere to show support to his wife. All eyes were on the pair as they posed for photographs on the red carpet. The 52-year-old actor was dressed up for the event in a black tuxedo, People reported.

He paired it with a crisp white shirt, black bow-tie, matching waistcoat and a white pocket square. Depp's look was by Dior Homme as well as his patent leather shoes.

The actor showed off his tattoos as he walked along with his famous accessories that included his silver earrings and rings. He also flaunted his eccentric style with eyeliner, smoky eyes and a dash of makeup.

The 29-year-old actress paired her look with her husband in a black floral strapless gown. Her dress is by Alexander McQueen and featured a thigh-baring split with ruffled detailing. She paired the black confection with black stilettos.

The actress accessorized with lots of gold jewelry which included rings, bracelets and bangles. She opted for subtle makeup with rosy cheeks, pale pink lipstick and smoky eyes with lots of mascara and eyeliner.

Heard also flashed her black manicure as she posed for the camera. Her blonde hair was styled into an up 'do' with a quiff in front.

Apart from the A-list couple, Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander were also present. The duo is being showered with a lot of praise for their work of portraying the revolutionary couple.

The film is garnering rave reviews and tells the story of Lili Elbe, who was born Einar Wegener. The character of Elbe has been played by Oscar-winner Redmayne.

Elbe was one of the first people to undergo gender reassignment surgery. Heard has played the role of Oola Paulson, a ballet dancer close to Elbe's wife, played by Alicia Vikander.

Meanwhile, Depp's gangster biopic "Black Mass" was premiered at the festival on Friday where the couple walked the red carpet for the first time since April.
