Victoria's Secret model Yfke Sturm is now fighting for her life. It appears that the actress recently been involved in a horrific jet surf accident that leaves her clinging for life.

The accident was due to Sturm being hit by another rider while on holiday in Italy, which is near the island of Ischia. Life and Style Mag reported that the 33-year-old Dutch supermodel is currently in a coma with severe spinal injuries and a fractured skull in a hospital in Naples, Italy, near where the accident occurred. The incident is even more painful since the Victoria's Secret model recently gave birth to her son Alexander just a month ago. Mirror earlier posted that Yfke was riding the motorised surfboard last week when she fell in and was then hit as she attempted to swim to shore.

Sturm is among the best sought out models of her time. She best known for working for Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Chanel and other well known major fashion labels. Her current condition will likely end in a serious risk of permanent paralysis. After the accident that involved Yfke Sturm, the Italian Coastguard quickly had her airlifted to a polyclinic in the region of Naples.

It was just only last month that Sturm posted on her social media sites, showing her newborn son. Based on her post, Sturm stated that, "Words cannot describe how excited we are for the arrival of our son Alexander!!" Mirror reported that, "There has yet to be word on her current condition, but the model's management company Next Model Management did confirm the accident and expressed their sympathies."

Sturm is based in London. She has been successful in her career as a model and has shown her modeling skills in the runway. The world is hoping for her fast recovery and for her life.
