We have seen our first image of Jay Garrick on "The Flash," but now the show's latest promo video gives us our first look at the character on the show. Played by Teddy Sears who was cast on the show last July, DC Comics' original Flash superhero will be appearing for the first time on the second season of the hit TV drama.

In the promo, Garrick reveals himself seemingly to Team Flash to warn them of the dangers caused by the singularity and the portal that was created from it. The portal is a bridge that links different worlds together and will play a huge part in introducing new characters on the show like the Atom Smasher (seen in the trailer) with possibly Killer Frost and series villain Zoom coming from another world as well.

Check out the trailer below!

After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only "meta-human" who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion - and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won't be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become...The Flash.

"The Flash" Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 8 PM on the CW.
