Season 9 of 'The Big Bang Theory' is just around the corner and wedding photos of Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) are already leaked!

Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter and some insiders from the show, we're now able to see what went down in Las Vegas.

Season 8 ended with an awkward conversation between the couple when Leonard confessed that he kissed a woman during his North Sea expedition two years ago.

But based on the photos below, it looks like Penny decided to overlook that mistake and the two proceeded to tie the knot in "The Matrimonial Momentum" episode of the show.

Showrunner Steve Molaro told THR, "Chuck and I had a long talk about [revealing the wedding before the premiere] and my fear was that it was going to start sound like they didn't [get married]. That was not a positive message - and we didn't want fans to feel like, 'Oh, they're going to pull the rug again and not do it.' There is so much more story beyond that moment that we decided to just let people know."

Molaro added that Leonard has been pursuing Penny "since minute three of the series." Add to that is Penny indecisiveness whether she wants to commit or not. Getting hitched will finally put an end to all the on-and-off dynamic.

As for the wedding vows, Molaro has this to say, “Any time any big moments in the show are going on, tension rises in the writers' room, but I think we were all excited about this one idea and all on the same page, and I think it turned out well or better than we could've possibly hope for. Johnny and Kaley just killed it, it's so good. It was one of those things where I even called them before we were back [in production] just to tell them how excited I was about it.”

There's no doubt that fans will see Penny Hofstadter with a ring on season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory."

The show returns on Monday, Sept. 21 at 8PM on CBS.
