Samsung and Facebook's Oculus plan for gear VR headset for smartphones will launch on November at $99. 

The virtual reality headset will be widely available to consumers in November and is said to be the first in market, according to CNET. The headset will cost $99 and will work well with mobile devices, including Samsung's new release this year, Note 5 and Galaxy S6.

The gear VR includes an ergonomic design, with soft and flexible cushions, for ultimate comfort design.

The headset covers the user's eyes with its chunky black box and places users in a computer-generated world. With this, it has attracted many large companies of the tech industry, including Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, who stated that the gear VR could have as much impact on the way we live, and thus, Facebook purchased Oculus for 2 billion dollars last year. Mark also confirmed that Facebook will be committed to this for a long term, US News & World Report.

The headset gives developers an opportunity to create an immersed 3D environment, since the obvious application of the gear is video games. Ensuring many virtual worlds will be available to early adoptors of the application to explore, Oculus made partnerships with game makers, bringing in more anticipation from consumers. The company planned to bring back the classic arcade game Pac-Man since the company struck partnership and agreements with Midway, Namco, and Sega.
