A new trailer for the Kingdom Hearts 3 was slated to be released today, according to rumors. However, game developer Square Enix has announced that the news is false and that they have not yet set a definite date for the trailer's release.

KHInsider said earlier on Twitter that Square Enix cannot assure Kingdom Hearts fans if they will be able to show the new trailer for the third sequel in the game series today.

Disney, the game's publisher, actively promoted the game during the D23 Expo held in Japan. The latest updates about the game and its contents were unveiled in the Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater that was set up in the event, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

However, much of the updates revealed in the event are not yet available to the public. Disney released a single picture of the game showing the game characters riding a vehicle inspired by Buzz Lightyear's favorite weapon, the Astro Blaster.

Fans were thrilled when unconfirmed source posted online that a new trailer for Kingdom Heart 3 is due to be release on Wednesday Nov. 4. Japanese fans were supposedly able to watch it by mid-afternoon their time. While North American fans should have been watching the trailer in the evening of November 3. Unfortunately, the Kingdom Heart 3 trailer has yet to been released by the Square Enix and Disney.

The new trailer was reportedly shown at the D23 event. Those who were lucky enough to watch it said that the anticipated trailer features some gameplay. Unfortunately, no new worlds have been introduced. A lot of fans, however, are still hoping that a new world such as Frozen will still be included by the time the KH3 is released, according to Twinfinite.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will soon be available on Xbox One and PS 4 gaming consoles but the exact date has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, two screenshots of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 - The Final Prologue has been released. One of the images shows the characters King Mickey and Kairi as well Riku. The second image shows every hero in game franchise. The KH2.8 Final Prologue will only be availabe for PS 4 next year.
