Taiwanese actor Vic Chou, 34, announced his marriage to Reen Yu, a 28-year-old actress, on Weibo on Tuesday. His post has received approximately 170,000 comments and 690,000 "likes."

"My wife is beautiful! Yes. We get married. Thanks for all of the blessings." Chou wrote on his official Weibo account, along with two photos of the new couple.

Later, Yu also updated her Facebook and wrote:" Thanks for being at my side. Thank you everyone. [LOVE]"

Chou's agent said that the two feel very happy now. They go to the register today and cannot wait to share the news with fans, he revealed.

Chou, an ex-member of F4 idol group, enjoys great popularity among young people. He has appeared in a few television drama shows including Meteor Garden and Boys over Flower.

After the news was verified, Chou's fans were unable to hide surprise.
