Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo recently unveiled its newest flagship device in its homeland. The company said that the new Vibe X3 will be released in three variants.
One hardware specs that stands out of the Lenovo Vibe X3 is its dedicated audio chip. It features Hi-Fi 3.0 and a choice between ESS Sabre ES9018K2M and Wolkson8281 DAC. It has front-facing stereo speakers, noise cancelling microphones and separate speaker amplifiers.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution. Depending on the model, the device is powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chip or an octa-core MediaTek processor. All phone models are available in two RAM choices; 2GB or 3GB. In terms of storage space, buyers can choice between 16GB, 32GB or 64GB models, all with microSD slots for storage expansion.
The higher end models has a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the other hand, the basic models has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Lenovo is well known in the tech community for its extra powerful battery packs, and the company did not disappoint with its latest phone. The Lenovo Vibe X3 sports a 3600mAh battery pack for the high-end models while the basic ones has a 3400mAh battery.
The fingerprint scanner, which is becoming a standard feature for most newly released smartphones, are situated at the back part of the X3. All models of the Lenovo Vibe X3 has fingerprint scanners.
According to Softpedia, the Lenovo Vibe X3 will be released in China on Nov. 25. It is still unclear whether the company plans to release it outside of the region. Reports claim that the handset is currently available for pre-order.
According to Phone Arena, the basic Vibe X3 with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage costs $300 while the model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage costs $400. The premium model with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage costs $470. Many tech analysts said that Lenovo's decision to release the Vibe X3 in several variants is part of its strategy to be more flexible and appeal to a broader client based.
