5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits China

(Photo : SCREENGRAB from Google Maps) A 5.2 magnitude earthquake affected China's Qinghai Province on Monday, November 23.
An earthquake rocked Qinghai Province in northwest China on Monday, according to The Economic Times.
The 5.2 magnitude earthquake also affected Qilian County of Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Qinghai Province in northwest China. According to a source cited by The Economic Times, the earthquake rocked the said location at 5:02 a.m.

The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be at the Arik Township. It was monitored at 38.0 degrees north latitude and 100.4 degrees east longitude. According to The Standard, the earthquake struck at 10-kilometer depth. No casualties or any damages have been reported following the earthquake.
Meanwhile, after feeling strong movements underground, people living in Qilian County have reportedly chosen to stay outdoors.
