The Samsung Galaxy S7 is reported to have significant improvements in performance, picture quality and other new features that emphasize a processing speed boost and enhanced viewing quality.
According to rumors, the upcoming Galaxy S7 could be out in 2016 with the return of the microSD. The company killed the removable battery and microSD slot from the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy 6 Edge that were released this year.

Leaks also show that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 CPU, 5.2-inch display and USB-C support.
Reports also claim that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be launched at the MWC expo event in Barcelona, Spain or earlier in January 2016 at CES. It is still unclear if the removable battery will return along with the expandable microSD slot and if there will be two Galaxy S7 versions - an edge and a flat body.
Other reports say the Samsung Galaxy S6 already has the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software undergoing tests though the official launch is yet to come next month.
Leaks show that the TouchWiz looks a lot like the Galaxy Note 5's interface. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 5 is said to be ready for rollout this month. Android now has the colorful Material Design guidelines and the Marshmallow reportedly improves the TouchWiz notification bar and the camera app Pro mode.
Meanwhile, Samsung introduced its mid-range phones - the 2016 Galaxy A5, Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7, which feature the functions and designs from the Galaxy S6.
While these new A models all feature glass backs and aluminum frames just like the Galaxy S6, the A7 and A5 also include fingerprint sensors, optical image stabilization and Samsung Pay integration.
All Galaxy A devices feature 13 megapixel rear cameras and 5 megapixel front ones, AMOLED panels, microSD, LTE and Android 5.1.
The A3 features 1.5 GHz quad core processor and 1.5GB of RAM, the A5 comes with a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM, and the A7 features the same processor but with 3GB of RAM.
The Samsung A series will be out in China in Dec. 2015 and the rest of the world in the new year.
