Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, design-wise, flaunts a curved screen design, which is quite an attention grabber. The curved part lets you customize it so it will display apps, contacts, night clock, and notifications. It has a metal frame as well as fingerprint scanner located on its home button, Tech Radar reported.

Huawei Mate 8, on the other hand, is much bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. However, unlike the Note Edge, this device does not come with a stylus. The major advantage is its build, which is made of high quality metal plus, is its curved edges that make it look even more durable and sleek.

The Huawei Mate 8 is equipped with a whopping 6.0 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, while the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is armed with a 5.6-inch super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. The Mate 8, which was recently released, is said to have a better display because of its octa-core processor.

Both Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and Huawei Mate 8 support up to 128GB, GSM Arena reported. However, when it comes to RAM, the Huawei device offers two options, either 3GB or 4GB.

Huawei Mate 8 battery, lastly, has a longer lasting battery as it packs a 4,000mAh, while the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a smaller 3000 mAh battery.

Huawei Mate 8, when it comes to price tags, more budget friendly at only $580 unlocked, while the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will cost you $299 with a two year contract.
