The post-apocalyptic drama series, "The 100", is slowly gaining momentum on American television.

Only a few weeks are left until the show returns with its third season, and CW recently released a promo video teaser for the upcoming season, to get the audience excited for the show.

The teaser preview was enough to get the fans hyped as it showcases that big things are about to happen to the main characters of the show. It was also reported earlier that "The 100" Season 3 is going to be a lot different in comparison with the previous seasons.

The main protagonist of the show, Clarke Griffin, is reportedly going to be in danger as she is being hunted everywhere. The reason that she is the most wanted is her encounter at Mount Weather in the last season.

The teaser also showed that Clarke remembers the time when she and Bellamy made the horrible decision of committing genocide, and pulled the lever.

At that time, they felt that they needed to do it in order to save the people from the enemy. After that, Clarke left Mount Weather and went into the woods, all alone. The second season came to an end on this scene.

The teaser further revealed that she will be meeting someone while walking in the woods in the upcoming season. It is yet to be revealed who she might bump into. However, it is speculated that it could be Lexa. It may also be a new character altogether.

"The 100" season 3 is all set to premiere next year on Jan. 21, 2016. The show will be continuing its run on CW.
