The release date of the beta version of "Fable Legends" has once again been stalled. According to a ostatement posted on the game's official website, the beta version of "Fable Legends" will be delayed until spring of 2016.

The gaming community rejoiced when Microsoft announced that it is working on the "Fable Legends" and the community even went ecstatic when the company said that the game will be "coming soon."

Despite these interesting news, it seems that Microsoft and "Fable Legends" developer Lionhead Studios are facing serious development problems, hence the delay of the game's release date.

As of this writing, Lionhead Studios claims that it is still working on the game. The developers are also in the process of looking for players to join in closed beta sessions.

"Fable Legends" creative director David Eckelberry posted a video on Lionhead Studios' YouTube account acknowledging the delay as well as explaining the reason why the deadline was missed. Eckelberry said that the development of the game is still going as planned. However, the developers had underestimated the massive scale and size of the game, which prompted them to delay the release.

Experts said that the reason behind the delay of the beta version of "Fable Legends" is a little vague. The developers said that the delay will give them more time to "listen to feedback from our players and add features and polish that will make a real difference."

Despite the delay of the release of the beta version, Lionhead Studios is still inviting more players to try out "Fable Legends" closed beta version. Reports indicate that the delay will bring in at least 100,000 gamers into the closed beta version of the game.

"Fable Legends" is expected to be released as a free-to-play game. Following the release of Windows 10, experts believe that the game will support cross-play between Xbox One and Windows PC.
