Apple to Focus on Polishing, Refining Devices in 2016 - Rather Than Releasing New Ones

Apple released some revolutionary new devices for 2015, as well as new features and services to its consumer base. The tech giant has announced that in 2016, it will focus more on enhancing and polishing its devices and services in order to deliver the best to customers.

The Cupertino-based company has devices that covers every aspect of its users' life. Apple has personal devices like the iPhone 6S or Apple Watch, office gadgets like the MacBook or iPad Pro. Apple plans to integrate each of these devices to work together and keep users within the Apple universe.

Apple's main focus for next year is improvements. With the exception of the iPhone line of devices, Apple will not release nearly as much new product as it did for 2015. Experts speculate that Apple is planning to introduce a new design for the iPhone. Apple has been using the same design for its flagship smartphone for almost a decade now.

If Apple's releasing schedule is to be followed, 2016 should mark the introduction of a redesigned iPhone. It is also expected that the next iPhone in line will be the iPhone 7.

The most wanted feature for the upcoming iPhone 7 is a more powerful battery pack. The iPhone 6S did not address the limited battery life of the iPhone 6. Although Apple did release the Smart Battery Case, some users find it a very bulky way to address the limited battery problem.

Experts also suggest that Apple might remove the iconic Home button on the upcoming iPhone. If this is true, the exclusion of the button means that the device will have a much bigger display.

As with all new iPhone devices, the upcoming iPhone 7 should be lighter and thinner. Rumors also indicate that Apple will opt to use the Lightning connector as the universal port both for charging and headphone jack.

Just like its closest rival, the Samsung Galaxy S5, the iPhone 7 is also expected to be waterproof.
