The Note 5 Winter Edition is currently available for purchase via South Korea's largest carriers SK Telecom and KT Corporation, according to Phone Arena. The phablet device is available in Silver Titanium and Gold Platinum colors.
In terms of the specs, the Note 5 Winter Edition comes with the exact same features and design as the previous 32GB and 64GB models. The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display screen with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution (QHD), and protected by the latest Gorilla Glass 4.
It has a powerful 16 megapixel OIS rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing shooter. The handset came with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version operating system pre-installed, along with Samsung's Exynos 7420 processor under its hood.
The processor is accompanied by a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57, and a Mali-T760MP8 graphics processing unit, according to GSM Arena. In addition, there's 4GB of RAM and a large 3,000 mAh battery.
Other specs include a fingerprint sensor, which is built into the home button, and support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS and NFC connectivity. The phone weighs about 171 grams and measures 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm in dimensions.
As of this time, there's still no word from the company about the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition outside of South Korea.
