Will Huawei Mate 8 be Sold in the US?

Huawei Mate 8 is set to be showcased in January 2016 at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas following Huawei's announcement of the said smartphone. But it is still unknown if the Chinese manufacturer will be selling its flagship device in the United States market in spite of reports that Huawei Mate 8's frequency bands are now being certified for US use.

Huawei has had to address issues related to the ban of the services and apps of Google in China. Although a number of Chinese manufacturers are still using the Android operating system, Google Store and apps such as Maps and Gmail are excluded on Chinese smartphones.
Huawei plans to extend its services and products to the US could start by offering Huawei Mate 8 in the country. The company is expected to be present at the CES to host a press conference scheduled for Jan. 4, 2016 and honor the press event the following day. However, there is no confirmation yet on which day the Huawei Mate 8 will be launched.
Huawei Mate 8 comes with a six-inch Full HD display, a rear camera with 16-megapixel, a front camera with eight-megapixel, Kirin 950 chip, an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS along with a Huawei overlay of EMUI 4.0. It is powered by 400mAh battery.
The handset comes in different color options in Moonlight Silver, Mocha Brown, Champagne Gold and Space Gray. The phone will come in three versions with varying RAM and internal storage size: 3GB of RAM with 32GB ofinternal storage, 4GB of RAM with internal storage pf64GB and 4GB of RAM with internal storage of 128GB.
