Tech giants Samsung and HTC officially announced that they will be releasing new phones exclusively for China. The new available phones for Chinese users are called HTC One X9 and Samsung Galaxy A9.
The HTC One X9 phone features a 5.5-inch display screen with a full HD screen and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor. The device is packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. HTC One X9 features 2 powerful cameras with 13-megapixel in the rear cam which is capable of optical image stabilization and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC One X9 will start at a price of $370.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy A9 is similar to HTC One X9 in both power and size, but with a slight edge. Galaxy A9 will feature a 6-inch Super AMOLED displays screen and powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor. Galaxy A9 will feature a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and 8-megapixel front cam. The device is packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB. The device is powered by 4,000 mAh battery capacity which is juicier than One X9. Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy A9 has no official price yet.
According to both companies, these two new phones are feature-rich and exclusive to China.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 fits perfectly with other phones released by the company, with its curved glass and metal with strong specs which includes Samsung Pay and a fingerprint reader. While the HTC's One X9 is a bit more of a departure. It still has an all-metal body, something the company has championed over the last few years, and from the back it looks almost as much like an iPhone.
Samsung and HTC's new phones stay exclusively for China at this moment. No details yet on when this two powerful phone be available in US and Europe.
