International martial arts superstar Jackie Chan has flown to Beijing, China yesterday in order to address his son Jaycee Chan's recent conflict with the Beijing authorities after being arrested for drug use and possession.
Chinese media reports say that Jaycee Chan, the son of renowned martial artist and actor Jackie Chan, has been arrested for drug possession and use last August 14 in Beijing, and is said to be possibly facing four years in prison.

Beijing Police were said to have confiscated more than 100 grams of marijuana at Jaycee Chan's apartment. Speculations rose that Jaycee Chan is in cahoots with other drug users which is an offence punishable by four years imprisonment.
In turn, Jackie Chan was said to have taken a flight to Beijing in order to help alleviate the situation of his son. Jackie Chan's wife, former actress Lin Feng Jiao, was said to have been extremely disappointed of his son's offense.
The kung fu legend is not only known for his movie, but also for being a high-profile figure who has close ties with the ruling Communist Party in China. He has also been named as an anti-drug ambassador. Jackie Chan has participated in anti-drug campaigns in the past which puts the martial arts actor in a very awkward position.
However, Jackie Chan has not yet addressed the media as to what he is planning to do regarding Jaycee Chan's case. It was presumed that the actor came back to China in order to help his son, but that hasn't yet been confirmed.
Speculations say that Jaycee Chan would probably be reprimanded by his father for his wrongdoings just as any parent would when their children behave negatively.
In other reports, M'Stones International, Jaycee Chan's company, has issued a statement of public apology in lieu to the incident. The company confirmed that Jaycee Chan was in fact arrested by Beijing authorities for drug use and possession.
The company has stated that Jaycee Chan is currently being detained, but lawyers of the company haven't yet reached him. Also, the details of the case haven't been confirmed.
M'Stones International has promised to take responsibility of whatever consequence the incident will cause. They have also expressed their support for Jaycee Chan, stating that they are willing to aid him to change.
