If its rumored specs are true, the smartphone will be under the high-end category with processor and memory customization. It is rumored that Microsoft is developing business smartphones, which will focus more on productivity. Thus, it will likely come with a Surface Pen. It is also speculated to have an angular design and metallic build.

While Motorola is an expert of processor and memory customization, it is not a master of other hardware features. Microsoft, on the other hand, is known for good hardware specs and it may compete with the iPhone or even beat Motorola with the Surface Phone release.
