The MediaPad M2 Tablet features a 10-inch IPS LCD "intelligent" display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. At first sight, the Tablet is similar in looks to Samsung's Galaxy Note 10-inch tablet. The device features a fingerprint sensor built into the power button and weighs fairly light.
MediaPad M2 is powered by Huawei's own Kirin 930 Octa-core 2.0GHz processor, which according to the company, is less powerful chip than its newest Kirin 950 processor. The device will come with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM depending on the model. The 2GB version will feature a 16GB internal storage, while the 3GB model supports 64GB of storage. A microSD slot is also featured in the tablet, which can allow users expand their memory up to 128 GB storage.
The tablet runs on Android 5.1 and features four Harman Kardon speakers. The tablet sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. What makes it more interesting is that the tablet comes with a new stylus, which according to Huawei, has a high level of pressure sensitivity (2,048 pressure levels). The tablet also supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac and fueled by 6,660mAh battery.
Huawei has not yet announced where and when it will ship this tablet, but the company has revealed that MediaPad M2 will start at a price of $349 for the 2GB + 16GB Wi-Fi-only variant and $469 for a model with 3GB of RAM and LTE Connectivity.
