Scottish international striker Steven Fletcher of the Premier League club Sunderland is set to choose his boyhood team of playing for Scottish League Championship conquerors Celtic football club over lucrative transfer proposals from Chinese outfits.
According the Mirror, Fletcher has substantial offers from the Asian clubs but is evading them to play for his boyhood favorite. The Sunderland striker is set to reject a mega-money switch to China and seal a move to Celtic, writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People.

The 28-year-old Scottish footballer's contract is due to expire at the end of the current season. Sunderland is about to sign Senegalese Dame N'Doye from Trabzonspor, leaving Fletcher's chances of playing regularly this season looking slim.
Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenhua and Scottish club Celtic are both bidding for the services of Fletcher. Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou R&F of the Chinese Super League have recently also come into the picture.
Both Chinese sides are prepared to offer wages above his $4 million-a-year deal with The Black Cats (Sunderland club's nickname).
However, The Bhoys (Celtic FC) are offering an incentive-based contract after opening talks with Fletcher's representatives.
Shanghai SIPG finished as second runner-up to Guangzhou Evergrande in the CSL last season while the Guangzhou R&F ended last season on the 14th place in the Chinese premier league.
Fletcher began his club career with the Scottish professional football club Hiberian which is based in Leith. He played in 156 Scottish Premier League games and scored 43 goals. He moved to Burnley FC in 2009 and became the club's top goalscorer in the 2009-10 season.
The Scottish stiker also had a playing stint with the Wolverhampton Wanderers FC before moving in with Sunderland in 2012.
Fletcher has scored 23 goals in his 86 Premier League appearances for the Black Cats.
