Hong Kong actor and singer Raymond Lam, who recently appeared with a more muscular physique, revealed the hard work and sacrifice of body training.
Lam's primary aim was to achieve a more toned and muscular physique, so he hired a personal trainer to guide him through his workouts.
The same personal trainer trained actor Nick Cheung in preparing for his role in the 2013 movie, 'Unbeatable'. Aside from the grueling training, Cheung claims to have a structured dietary program, which required him to cut out sugar, salt and oil from his daily diet.

Lam's determination to be fit was intense that he has revealed that he vomited in the shower after the first three days of training.
"Actually, what I found hardest was having to watch my diet, as I live to eat," said Lam.
The actor added that he has not worked out for the past ten years but he does not really have an ideal body type. Dieting was the most difficult part of the training for Lam since it requires him to completely cut out the sugar and eat steamed food instead.
Lam, who is in a longtime relationship with actress Karena Ng, didn't express any problems with dieting whenever they would go out on a date. Lam requested his girlfriend to not share her food with him, in order to follow the discipline of eating healthy.
Fans have speculated if Lam's motivation for working out might be related to his upcoming concert this April. Lam has been promoting the event for the past six months and hopes to amaze the audience with his new dance moves and a new physique as well.
