The hardcore mode in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will feature Team Kill rather than Ricochet.
Hardcore is an alternative that reduces player health and permits friendly fire, said Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey. He said fans like Team Kill.
Modern Warfare 2 and 3 features Ricochet, which means a player will suffer damage if he shoots his own team.

Sledgehammer introduced Call of Duty Advanced Warfare at Gamescom 2014. It invited participants to try the game and players found out more through the studio.
According to one rumor, there are hints the Zombies ill return in the game. There's also a tally close to the analog stick like the one built in earlier Call of Duty titles such as Black Ops, World at War and Black Ops 2.
In Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Multiplayer, players will be capable of boosting their jump slide and dodge.
There's also a new weapon called the Directed Energy Weapon that can store and generate heat. Returning from Black Ops 2 are the Scorestreaks. These are important in the game because when it's activated, the other player may come and play. It can also be customized.
There's also the Supply Drops, which are player reward packs that contain weapon loot, reinforcements and character customization items.
The game offers different abilities to exoskeleton use such as hovering, energy shields, health boost, cloaking, Trophy systems that destroy incoming grenades and speed boost.
CEO Eric Hirshberg promised the game will support Wii U. On the other hand, Condrey said the publisher skipped the platform with Advanced Warfare.
The Special Limited Edition Xbox One costs US$499.99. It'll be out on Nov. 4 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
