Basketball News: Shanxi Zhongyu Brave Dragons Beat Xinjiang Flying Tigers in CBA Round 35

(Photo : gettyimages.com) Former NBA player Jamaal Franklin led the Brave Dragons by scoring 45 big points, grabbing 9 rebounds, dishing 8 assists and sneaking 4 steals to win the game.
The Table leader Xinjiang Flying Tigers suffered their 8th loss of the tournament with a close gap defeat to the eleventh ranked Shanxi Zhongyu Brave Dragons with the ending score of 112-110 in the 35th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday.
It was a hard fought battle for both teams as the game was very close. However, with the Brave Dragon's victory, the Flying Tigers fell from the top of the team standing and became the second and third best with 28 wins and 8 loses. They are currently tied with Sichuan Blue Whales and behind the present league leader Liaoning Flying Leopards with 28 wins and 7 loses.

On the other hand, the team of Shanxi Zhongyu improved their team standing, they are now tied with the Jiangsu Dragons in the 9th and 10th spot, having the same 18 wins and 18 lose record.
Former NBA player Jamaal Franklin led the Brave Dragons by scoring 45 big points, grabbing 9 rebounds, dishing 8 assists and sneaking 4 steals to win the ballgame. Hatian-Canadian reinforcement center Samuel Dalembert, added 16 points and 9 rebound for the winners.
NBA prospect Qi Zhou had a double-double game performance with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Andrew Goudelock scored a team-high 26 points with 4 assists, while American reinforcement Andray Blatche contributed 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists for the Xinjiang squad.
In the other round-up of the round 35 of the CBA, present league leader Liaoning Flying Leopards crushed the North Control Beijing 122-110 while Shandong Gold Star bowed to Jiangsu Dragons 113-115.
Qingdao Eagles yielded to Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 133-140, while the Dongguan Leopards outscored the Jilin Northeastern Tigers 110-103 and the Guandong Southern Tigers demolished the Zhejiang Golden Bulls 127-102.
Foshan Long-Lions outlasted Bayi Rockets 111-105, while the defending champion Beijing Ducks was crushed by Sichuan Blue Whales 97-111.
Shanghai Sharks beats Jiangsu Tong Xi Monkey Kings 100-95 and Fujian Sturgeons defeated the Tianjin Ronggang 118-111.
Fujian Sturgeons smashed the North Control Beijing 122-112 and Foshan Long-Lions defeated the Shanxi Brave Dragons 118-127.
