The OneTouch Pixi 7 device was developed by the Chinese company Alcatel. The company introduced this device way back in Feb. 2014, and it was released in July of the same year. This device received good reviews from tech enthusiast because of its features, specifications and cheap price.
OneTouch Pixi 7 is similar in size to a phablet since it features a grainy 7-inch, 1,024-by-600-pixel display panel. The phablet is powered by a dated 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 with 1GB of RAM.

The phablet hardware was tested on the AnTuTu Benchmark, and scored only 20,688. The result is unimpressive, but that is expected since the device is cheap.
The device's dual camera is not very impressive as it only sports 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. Moreover, the camera output images are bright and clear. Its camera also supports helpful options such as countdown timer, face detection, location tracking, and ISO selection. However, it is not recommended for taking dark shots.
The device is fueled by a non-removable Li-Ion 2840 mAh battery. The battery can last up to 8 hours of normal usage, like streaming full-screen video over Wi-Fi at with full brightness.
The design of the Pixi 7 is petite compare to other phablet since it only measures just 7.5 by 4.3 by 0.4 inches (HWD) and weighs about 10 ounces. The phablet is suitable for a person who doesn't want a large device to carry. The back portion of phablet is made of black matte and dimpled plastic. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right edge, while headphone jack and micro USB port are located at the top most of the phablet. On the left side of the device are the microSD card slot and SIM card slot.
The phablet is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Alcatel's UI. The device comes with a built-in 4GB internal storage, which can be increased via a microSD card.
