The Apple iPhone 7 may be launched in September thisi year, but for several months now, the rumor mill has not stopped churning new information about the much-anticipated smartphone. New rumors suggest that the iPhone 7 will come with a new design without the camera hump and antenna bands.

According to reports, the iPhone 7 will still look similar to the iPhone 6S, but there will be two major changes to its design. While the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S have protruding cameras, the iPhone 7 Plus may sport a dual-camera system which would be laid flat on its chassis.

Another rumored design change include the removal of antenna lines on the rear panel of the smartphone, which may give the device a neater appearance. Meanwhile, the antenna bands on the top, bottom and edges are rumored to remain unchanged. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to feature wireless charging and a new wired headset which needs to be connected to the Lightning port instead of a standard 3.5 mm audio jack or a Bluetooth one.

Reports also suggest that the Cupertino tech giant is aiming for around 6mm to 6.5 mm thickness for the new iPhone 7, which is thinner than the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus handsets with 7.1 mm and 7.3 mm thickness, respectively. It appears that the next-gen iPhones will be very refined versions of the successful iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S versions.

Apple is also expected to launch a 4in, full-metallic handset called the iPhone 5SE in March. The upgraded iPhone 5SE is said to feature Apple A9, NFC, Wi-Fi, Live Photos support and 1 GB of RAM.
