Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2016 in Barcelona, Spain later this month. Unlike last year, when the two flagship smartphone models released by the company had the same screen size, the Galaxy S7 is said to come larger than its predecessor and could possibly sport a 5.5-inch display.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices are expected to come with microSD storage support and a water-resistant design with a smaller-sized battery. Based on the leaked images of the latest Samsung flagship phones, the camera appears to be more flush with the back plate than the S6 camera was. This confirms one of the early rumors, as it does the one that the smartphone's back will be made of plastic and not of glass. Another confirmed rumor is the magnesium metal frame on the device's sides, as opposed to aluminum.

The leaked image shows the device displaying an AnTuTu benchmark test result and labelled as SM-G9350 - the rumored S7 Edge's model number. The technical performance score is 134704, which is also expected from the S7's rumored specs.

Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will have a 3600 mAh battery and customers are hopeful that it could compete against the massive battery life of the iPhone 6S Plus.

It is important to warn that the leaked image may only show a prototype and information based on speculations should just be taken with a grain of salt until the launch of the device on Feb. 21.
