Rescue workers are racing against time looking for the 57 people who are still missing as of Thursday night, following the magnitude 6.7 earthquake that rocked Taiwan last Saturday.
Although hopes are fading for the 57 missing people to be found alive, rescue workers continue to dig through rubbles day and night searching for possible signs of life.

As of 9:48 p.m. Thursday, authorities said the number of fatalities from the earthquake that struck southern Taiwan's Tainan City had risen to 67.
Most of the fatalities were taken out from the 16-storey Wei Guan building that collapsed toward a road during the earthquake.
A total of 238 people were rescued out of the building but as of Thursday night, or six days after the earthquake, 57 people were still unaccounted for.
Rescue workers last pulled out a survivor from the rubble of the building three days ago but they are still hoping that they could still find survivors.
The earthquake struck Tainan city at 3:57 a.m. Saturday, or two days ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year.
The United Nations has expressed its sympathies to all those affected in the magnitude 6.7 earthquake in Taiwan.
"In the aftermath of the recent earthquake in Taiwan, Province of China, which reportedly, killed more than 30 people, the Secretary-General expresses his sympathies to all those affected, especially the loved ones of those who have lost their life," Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, said.
Dujarric also said that the UN Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has been in touch with the affected area.
