The 2014-15 NBA season Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry showcased another superb performance with a near triple-double as the Golden State Warriors walloped the struggling Phoenix Suns in a 112-104 victory at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on Wednesday night.
Curry, who led all scorers with a 26 points production, was just a rebound and an assists short of registering a triple-double on the night. He grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 9 assists with 1 steal and 1 blocked shot in 30.06 minutes of game action.

The win marked the 48th victory of the reigning NBA champions with just 4 defeats for the best record ever through 52 games in the history of the league. The Warriors have surpassed the longstanding record set by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls and 1966-67 Philadelphia 76ers. It was also the team's eleventh consecutive triumph before the All-Star break.
"Nobody has ever done it, right?" he said. "Fifty-two games in to have only lost four games is remarkable. It speaks to the talent and chemistry of the players. We have a deep roster and they love playing together, they enjoy winning and they are good at it."
The other half of the Dub's Splash Brothers Klay Thompson finished the game with 24 points with 5 steals, 3 rebounds and 1 assist, while the Brazilian Leandro Barbosa added 12 points and Andrew Bogut provided an extra defense for the Warriors with 3 block shots and 2 steals. He also posted 4 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists.
Archie Goodwin registered a team-high 20 points, while Markieff Morris scored 19 points. Rookie Devin Booker contributed 15 points and a career-best 10 assists for the Suns.
Phoenix currently sits at the second lowest spot in the Western Conference team standings with 14 wins and 40 losses. They lost nine straight games with five of it played at home under the interim coach Earl Watson, who recently took charge of the team after Jeff Hornacek was fired as head coach of the club.
