Chinese actor William Feng is rumored to be dating rookie actress Jelly Lin.

Lin, who is only 19 years old, is making a name for herself in the entertainment industry thanks to her acting debut in Stephen Chow's box office hit "The Mermaid." After being cast in the fantasy film, the actress has gained the attention of viewers and netizens alike.

Recently, Lin made headlines after rumors spread that she is dating "The Monkey King 2" actor William Feng.

According to Jaynestars, the rumor stemmed from a photo that Lin posted on her official Weibo account recently. The the actress claims to have taken the photo at a time when she was cooking for a family reunion.

Although Lin immediately deleted the photo, many followers have commented that the background of the photo, the kitchen to be specific, looks like Feng's house.

The rumor linking Lin and the 37-year old actor reached a high pitch after the couple were allegedly photogrpahed holding hands while taking a stroll.

In addition, a few days ago, the actress posted yet another photo on her Weibo page. In the photo, she was holding a big bouquet of roses. She captioned the photo, "This id the first time I have ever received so many Valentine's Day roses. Thank you."

She then compared the plot of "The Mermaid" to the roses she received, citing that the mermaid in the film was willing to walk on the sharp edge of a knife in order to have legs like humans, which is similar to figuratively walking barefoot on thorny rose bushes as one treads life.

However, this photo was interpreted by netizens as Li being in a relationship.

Neither Lin nor Feng have responded to the rumors.
