Lenovo Lemon 3 Smartphone Teased for Mobile World Congress 2016

(Photo : YouTube) Lenovo will bring its Lemon 3 smartphone to the Mobile World Congress 2016.

Chinese smartphone and laptop manufacturer Lenovo would not be releasing a new flagship smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2016 this month, instead the company says it will be unveiling a mid-range Android smarphone called Lemon 3, which was introduced in China a few months ago.

"A gorgeous new device has been engineered from scratch to deliver the #Knockout punch. Brace yourselves," Lenovo posted on its official Twitter account. The caption of the teaser image pointed out that the device will be launched at the MWC 2016. The caption reads "#KnockOut. Coming soon. MWC'2016."

Lenovo's Lemon 3 smartphone is a mid-range Android device that offers some premium features. The device features a premium design as it is equipped with fully metallic body appearance. It sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, which supports full HD 1080p display resolution resolution and a brightness of 450nits.

The Lemon 3 smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit. The device packs 2GB of RAM and comes with a built-in 16GB internal storage onboard, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The Lemon 3 sports a 13-megapixel rear shooter found at the back, which is capable of autofocus capturing, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. Meanwhile, the secondary camera features a 5-megapixel shooter for selfie and video calling purposes.

The smartphone also comes with dual-SIM support and mid-range stereo speakers on the back panel with Waves MaxxAudio technology. The Lenovo Lemon 3 smartphone is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
