CBA Quarterfinal Round 3: Liaoning Flying Leopards Sweep Zhejiang Golden Bulls 3-0

(Photo : gettyimages.com) Former Boston Celtics player Shavlik Randolph continued his dominance by scoring a game-high 28 points and grabbing 8 rebounds to go along with 3 assists as Liaoning Flying Leopards swept aside Zhejiang Golden Bulls.
The league's top team Liaoning Flying Leopards finished their quarterfinals showdown with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls with a clean sweep, crushing their opponent with a 127-111 victory to advance to the semifinal stage of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) playoff round on Friday evening.

Liaoning proved too good for the Golden Bulls as they dominated almost the entire game, outscoring Zhejiang in the first three quarters of the match to build a lead of 17 points 101-84 going in to the final twelve minutes of the game.
The Golden Bulls tried to make a comeback in the fourth quarter with a 27-26 run to extend the series, but Liaoning was just too tough to overcome.
The Flying Leopards ruled the shaded area, scoring 76 points of its total game production compared to the 50 points made by the Golden Bulls. Liaoning also shot a decent 78.3 percent from the foul line making 18 shots of 23 attempts given.
The CBA's No. 1 team displayed better ball movement and an unselfish brand of offensive game with a team combined of 33 assists during the match.
Former Boston Celtics player Shavlik Randolph continued his dominance by scoring a game-high 28 points and grabbing 8 rebounds to go along with 3 assists, while reliable American reinforcement Lester Hudson added 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to paced Liaoning to the victory.
Chinese forward Li Xiaoxu and center Han Dejun finished the game with 19 points and 10 points for Liaoning, while the Chinese hotshot shooting guard Guo Ailun scored 15 points to go along with 11 assists and 2 rebounds.
Iranian forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami led the Golden Bulls by scoring 22 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. American forward Charles Gaines finished the night with 21 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists, while Chinese Lai Junhao and Zhou Hang contributed 19 points and 16 points respectively.
Liaoning will be facing the Sichuan Blue Whales, who swept the Guangsha Lions in their series 3-0, to qualify for the semifinals.
