HTC Releases 3 New Desire Smartphones

Taiwanese electronics company HTC has released three new devices that will be successors to its Desire brand of smartphones. The three new handsets from HTC are Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825. All the three smartphones were unveiled at the 2016 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

HTC said that while the new Desire smartphones are new, they will not be tagged as flagship devices. Additionally, HTC did not unveil the highly-rumored HTC One M10 Perfume during its presentation.

The HTC Desire 530 will be marketed at the lower-tiered segment. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz with 1.5GB of RAM. The HTC Desire 630 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.6GHz with 2GB of RAM.

The two abovementioned devices both sport a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution on a Super LCD panel. On the other hand, the HTC Desire 825 has the same resolution and technology, but has a bigger screen at 5.5-inch..

All three new Desire smartphones will have 16GB of storage which is expandable and LTE connectivity. The two higher-tiered models will include HTC BoomSound with a new Hi-Res audio headset along with 13-megapixel rear facing camera and dual-SIM support. The lower-tiered model, the Desire 530, will have an 8-megapixel rear facing camera.

Some tech experts agree that the best feature of the three new HTC smartphones are their case color. HTC impressed the tech community by releasing tis three newest phone with Micro Splash color, something that has not been done in the industry for quite some time.

 The HTC Desire 825 and HTC Desire 630 are available in Stratus White with a sprayed combo of pink and gray all splattered in Graphite Grey Remix with gold color paint. The HTC Desire 530, unfortunately, does not sport the same speckled design.
