NBA News: Portland Trail Blazers in Hot Winning Steak, Damian Lillard Almost Unstoppable

(Photo : gettyimages.com) Portland’s superstar Damian Lillard has been almost been unstoppable in his recent games.
The Western Conference seventh leading team Portland Trail Blazers are in flaming hot form this Month, winning seven of their eight game assignments so far.
The Blazers are currently 30-27 and sit on the seventh spot in the Western Conference after beating the lowly Brooklyn Nets 112-104 at the Moda Center on Tuesday night.

Portland's superstar Damian Lillard has almost been unstoppable in his recent games. The 2016 NBA draft sixth overall pick is currently averaging 25.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 7.2 assists in the 50 games he has played for the Trail Blazers this season.
Lillard is shooting 42.7 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from beyond the arc region. In their recent game against the NBA defending champions Golden States Warriors, Lillard erupted with 51 big points, including nine connections from the three-point area to crush the league's leading team to a lopsided 137-105 victory.
In their basketball match against the surging Utah Jazz on Sunday, the Blazers registered their 10th victory in 11 games played with a 115-111 triumph. In this game, the two-time All-Star guard finished the night with 30 points and became the first franchise player since the great Clyde Drexler in 1991 to reach that number in four straight.
"If one gets going, a team can load up on him," Lillard, who has also shoos 85.5 percent from the foul line this season, said. "(Both of us) kind of kept them off balance."
The Nets suffered their second straight defeat following the All-Star break and fell to 4-20 on road this season and went 3-7 in the last ten games they played. Brooklyn is coming from a 104-96 home loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
The Nets have won 11 of the 33 games played at the Barclays Center this season.
The Blazers on the other hand are on a six-game winning streak, and are 19-11 at home.
