NBA Recap: San Antonio Spurs Overpower Sacramento Kings, Tony Parker Drops 23

The Western Conference powerhouse and the league's second-best team San Antonio Spurs continued their dominance over the Pacific Division Sacramento Kings with a 108-92 victory at the Sleep Train Arena on Wednesday night.
Ceteran guard Tony Parker led the Spurs with a game-high 23 points to go along with 6 assists and 3 rebounds, while Kawhi added 18 points and 8 boards to seal the franchise 35th triumph over the Sacramento Kings in 39 games played.

San Antonio capped the first half of the game with an 11-point advantage 49-38 as both teams went into their respective locker rooms. In the third quarter, the Spurs, who have won nine of their last ten games played, took the lead for good with just over 4 minutes left to play in the third period, then pulled away in the final twelve minutes of the game in the fourth quarter.
Guard Danny Green contributed 16 points and 7 rebounds while shooting 6-of-9 from the field and Kyle Anderson, who went 7 for 9 in the field, scored 14 points for the Spurs, who are on a three-game winning streak.
Forward LaMarcus Aldridge struggled offensively scoring 7 points only in 31.33 minutes of action. However, he contributed well in the defensive end, posting 9 rebounds and 5 block shots while playing a solid defense on DeMarcus Cousins, who scored 22 points and grabbed 10 boards for the Kings.
Sacramento's Darren Collison and Quincy Acy finished the game with 15 points, each while forward Rudy Gay was limited to just 11 points.
The Spurs, who had a better 51.8 field goal percentage compared to the 40.6 percent of the Kings, are currently 48-9 and have won their 20th game of 29 matches on road this season.
The Kings, on the other hand, snapped their three-game winning streak and suffered their 32nd loss in 56 games played. Sacramento are currently 14-14 at home this season.
