Western Conference third leading and Northwest Division top team Oklahoma City Thunder finished off a season sweep of the Dallas Mavericks with a 116-103 victory at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday evening.

The Thunder's dynamic duo of All-Stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scored a team-high 24 points each, with Westbrook dishing out 13 assists for another double-double game performance to carry the 2012 NBA Finalist club to their 41st victory in 57 games played this season.

"My job is to be able to find those guys when they're making shots, when they're contributing to our team," Westbrook, who is the NBA's second-best in assists with 10.2 assist per game, said. "They've been doing that all season, and that's what I try to do."

With the Thunder win, the Mavericks Dallas lost six of eight to fall into a group of four teams battling for the last three postseason berths. They are currently 30-28 and sit at the seventh spot of the West teams standings.

The Mavericks are just a half game behind the surging sixth placed Portland Trail Blazers  30-27, who have lost six games in a row and they are just two victories ahead of the eight placed Utah Jazz, 28-28.

"I don't look at the standings that much," Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle stated."I'm looking at how we're playing. I didn't like the way we played in the first and fourth quarters tonight - and those are pretty important quarters."

Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 33 points  to go along with 6 boards and 2 steals to lead the Mavericks, but it was not enough. Wesley Matthews and Deron Williams finished the evening with 15 points and 14 points respectively.
