Samsung Galaxy S7 vs. Xiaomi Mi 5 vs. LG G5: Specs and Features Comparison

(Photo : Getty Images) Xiaomi's Mi 5 smartphone is one of the high-end Android devices released at the World Mobile Congress 2016.
A lot of high-end Android smartphones were introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 including flagship devices from Samsung, Xiaomi and LG: the Galaxy S7, Mi 5 and G5 respectively. Below is a comparison of the aforementioned smartphones to help you decide which one to buy this year.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a body which measures 5.61 x 2.74 x 0.31 inches, while the Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with a 5.69 x 2.72 x 0.29-inch body. The LG G5 has the widest and tallest body with 5.88 x 2.91 x 0.30 inches.

In terms of processor, all three devices are powered by the most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, but other Galaxy S7 models depending on region will have the Exynos 8890 SoC as well. The Galaxy S7 and LG G5 both have 4 GB of RAM, while the Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with only 3 GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1-inch Quad HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel and 577 ppi whereas the LG G5 sports a bigger 5.3-inch Quad HD screen with 554 ppi. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.15-inch Quad HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 428 ppi.
When it comes to memory, the G5 only has 32 GB of in-built storage, while the Mi 5 features 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage options. The Galaxy S7 comes with 32 GB and 64 GB storage variants. All three will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well.
The Galaxy S7 will have a 12 MP rear camera, while both the LG G5 and Xiaomi Mi 5 will come with 16 MP rear snappers. All three phones feature autofocus, OIS and dual-LED flash. While the G5 boasts of an 8 MP front camera, the Galaxy S7 does not have a bad one with 5 MP. The Xiaomi Mi 5, meanwhile, comes with 4 MP front camera. Both the Galaxy S7 and Mi 5 come with non-removable 3000 mAh capacity batteries, while the LG G5 comes with a removable 2800 mAh battery unit.
