Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge Release Date and Price From AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile

(Photo : Getty Images) Carriers in the U.S. have announced their release dates for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones.
Samsung debuted its most recent flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. Now, carriers AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile have confirmed the release dates for these devices and their prices. Samsung will sweeten the deal with a free Gear VR headset and six virtual reality games for devices purchased between Feb. 23 and March 18.

Verizon will start taking Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge pre-orders online on Feb. 23 at 8:00 AM EST. It will offer the smartphones in stores starting March 11 for a $28 USD monthly fee for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 and $33 USD monthly for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 Edge. The full retail prices for the devices are $672 USD and $792 USD, respectively.
AT&T will start taking Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge online pre-orders on Feb. 23 at 8:00 AM EST as well. The carrier will offer the smartphones in stores starting March 11 for $23.17 USD monthly for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 and $26.50 USD monthly for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 Edge. The full retail prices for the devices are $695 USD and $795 USD, respectively.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile will start taking Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge online pre-orders on Feb. 23, 8:00 AM EST. It will offer the smartphones in stores starting March 11 for $27.92 USD monthly for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 and $32.50 USD monthly for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 Edge. The full retail prices for the devices are $669.99 USD and $779.99 USD, respectively. The carrier will also include one free year of Netflix worth $100 USD.
Lastly, Sprint will start taking Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge online pre-orders on Feb. 23 at 8:00 AM EST. It will offer the smartphones in stores starting March 11 for $25.99 USD monthly for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 and $30.50 USD monthly for two years for the 32 GB Galaxy S7 Edge. The full retail prices for the devices are $650 USD and $750 USD, respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a 5.1-inch display while the S7 Edge comes with a 5.5-inch screen. Some new key features include the handset's Snapdragon 820 processor, 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display, liquid cooling technology, 4 GB of RAM, IP68 certified dust and water resistant body and microSD expandable storage.
