Kim Kardashian and her half-sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner just couldn't care less about social issues.

During a heartfelt tribute to the racial conflict in Ferguson, Missouri, the trio were caught on camera looking down on their phones and texting. 

Police officials and passionate demonstrators have been clashing on a daily basis and, police have been openly criticized for their militaristic handling of the situation.

Racial issues blew up when 18-year old Michael Brown was shot by officer Darren Wilson on August 9. Brown was unarmed.

After seeing the trio text during a tribute to the town torn apart by grief and conflict, viewers took to Twitter to criticize the sisters.

One user tweeted,"Kendall Jenner could literally care less about social change," while other social media users joked that Kim was probably googling "Who is Ferguson?" and, that they "would pay TOP DOLLAR to see Kim Kardashian point out Ferguson on a map."

MTV stated that the moment the sisters were caught on cam was not an edit. The show was being filmed and aired live with no lag. The sisters really were on their phones while the silent tribute was being held.

But then again, the sisters' self-centeredness doesn't really come as a surprise to many.

Aside from her many narcissistic and selfish actions in the past, Kim Kardashian has recently announced that she is set to publish and release a book of selfies, which feature more than 300 photos of no other than herself.

Kendall, on the other hand, had a recent run-in with a waitress whom she supposedly threw money at after being told that she didn't pay the bill. Jenner was apparently told that they couldn't serve her alcohol because she was a minor, which prompted her to stand from her table and leave the establishment.

And Kylie? She threw a tantrum at a Hollywood hotel after servers also refused to serve her and her friends alcohol because they were minors.
