Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE has officially unveiled the successor of the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite smartphone called the Blade D2, which features a massive 4000mAh capacity battery and is priced at $120. This is a lower-end device but packs a sizeable battery.

The ZTE Blade D2 smartphone (or model Blade-T620) has been exclusively made available for now in Thailand. It is unclear when the device would be available in other markets. However, the device has also seen listed on an official website in Vietnam, which means that it could be launched in the country soon.

In terms of the specifications, the ZTE Blade D2 smartphone features a 5-inch IPS LCD display screen with HD resolution of 1280 x 720. The device is powered by 1 GHz MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit quad-core processor paired with Mali-T720 graphics processing unit. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM and comes with a built-in internal memory storage of 8GB, which can be further expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card.

The Thailand version of the phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, and 1080p video capture, plus a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. However, the official website entry for Vietnam lists the device with a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing snapper.

The connectivity of the phone includes 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0. What makes this device more interesting is its battery with 4000 mAh capacity that should keep the juice flowing nicely. The handset measures 144mm x 69.5mm x 8mm and weighs in at 155g. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

The ZTE Blade D2 smatphone price for Vietnam is shown as VND 2.690.000 - that equates to around $120, £84, €109, or Rs. 8,035.
