Reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly planning to offer €15 million and two of their existing players to Italian Serie A club AS Roma for the services of their midfielder Miralem Pjanic in the summer.

Football Italia reported that PSG will "offer Roma Lucas Digne, Adrien Rabiot and €15m cash for Miralem Pjanic this summer" as they challenge cash-rich Spanish and English clubs Real Madrid and Chelsea for the winger's signature.

The report further said that Les Parisiens are "willing to offer a deal worth around €50m to fight off the competition for Pjanic".

French left back Digne, who is also valued at €15 million, had been on loan to La Maggica since August of last year, appearing in a total of 29 games in all competitions and scoring two goals, and could be on his way to a permanent move to the Spanish capital if the said deal pushes through.

Meanwhile French midfielder Rabiot is said to be a natural replacement for Pjanic in the midfield and is said to be valued at about €15 million to €18 million.

With the valuations of both players plus the €15 million cash Laurent Blanc's club is willing to pay, Pjanic is set to cost around €45 million to €48 million all in all.

Caught Offside noted that the additional €15 million will be used by Roma to reinvest in the upcoming summer transfer window as I Lupi manager Luciano Spalletti is targeting another Champions League berth next season.

I Giallorossi is presently at the third spot in the Serie A league table, five points behind second-running squad SSC Napoli and eight points adrift of league leaders and defending champions Juventus FC. They are also currently on a seven-game winning run in the Italian domestic top flight.

However, it is not clear if the Rome residents are amenable to let go of Pjanic with the above-mentioned offer. Reports are out that PSG will probably make an even improved offer "to test their resolve" if ever Roma turns down the bid.
