"That, I think, threw us off for sure because I usually get to play the whole third quarter and I had to mix it up a little bit," Curry, who connected three of his seven treys in the final 12 minutes of the game, said. "I wanted to come in and hopefully have an impact on the fourth quarter and use my fresh legs from the extended break."

Reserve Marreese Speights contributed a season-high 25 points and nine boards coming off the bench. Klay Thompson finished with 20 points and Draymond Green posted 19 points and six assists for the Warriors.

The Warriors ended the first half with 60-56 lead over the Suns. The Golden State staged an 8-4 run in the early minutes of the third period, but the Suns stormed back with a 35-18 charge to take a 95-86 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

In the final quarter, the Warriors made an early 11-1 run to take back the lead with Speights and Curry doing the damage to the Suns.

Curry made a three-pointer and tied the game at 108 all with less than six minutes remaining. The Warriors staged another 11-0 run to pull away with 119-108 advantage with 2:17 left to play.

Brandon Knight had 30 points and Alex Len finished the game with 26 points and 13 rebounds for the Suns.
