Apple is expected to launch the iPhone Special Edition on March 21, but some reports say that the widely anticipated handset was already seen in Huaqiangbei, Shenzhen,  China's Silicon Valley of Hardware.

Several images and a video are circulating online which allegedly show the 4-inch iPhone SE.

Previous leaks suggest that the iPhone SE will have the same design as the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6S. In the video, the iPhone SE is referred to as a "mixed blood of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 5S."

The photos, on the other hand, show round edges, a thicker form, and a protruding camera module. The volume rockers also have the same look as that of the iPhone 6S.

The iPhone SE is rumored to sport an Apple A9 chipset with 1 GB of RAM and variants of 16GB and 64GB storage. It is also speculated to come in different colors such as Silver, Space Gray, Gold and Rose Gold.

Apple is set to hold an event on March 21 to introduce its new products. However, it is still unconfirmed what products will be showed off.

Notably, Apple products are not due for an annual update yet but the Cupertino tech giant may simply release a set of smaller upgrades this time. It is still a question what Apple will call the upcoming phone and how it will encourage people to buy it as the authenticity of the photos and video are still not verified.
