NBA Recap: Toronto Raptors Beat Indiana Pacers in Overtime, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry Score 28 Points Each

Toronto Raptors got the better of the Indiana Pacers with a 101-94 overtime victory at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Thursday night.

All-Star duo DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with a combined 56 points as the two superstars scored 28 points apiece to give Toronto their 46th win in 67 games played this season.

Starting center Bismack Biyombo displayed an amazing performance - finishing the night with a double-double of 16 points and a career-high 25 big rebounds in 42:12 minutes of playing time.

DeRozan scored 10 points in the final quarter and had a chance to give the win to the Eastern Conference second leading team at the end of regulation but missed a fade-away jumper on the wing as time expired. The starting forward went 9 for 26 from the field and 10 of 12 from the foul line.

While Lowry, who made 4 of 11 from the three-point range and 8 for 21 overall from the floor, dished out four assists and grabbed eight rebounds for the Raptors, but also committed eight turnovers of Toronto's total of 14.

Toronto was leading at the end of the third period with 63-60, but the Pacers managed to overtake the lead 74-70 with over six minutes to play in the fourth quarter. The Raptors held an 11-7 run to tied the game at 81 all with 3:05 minutes remaining.

Monta Ellis, who only scored eight points, split his free throw that set the game to a deadlock at 85 all with just 14 ticks to go before a missed shot by DeRozan sent the game in to overtime.

The Raptors made a 9-3 charge to make it 94-88 with just 1:19 minutes to play; uhey hang on with their lead and seal the victory with a free shot by Lowry that set the score to 101-94 with 11.1 ticks to play.

Paul George and George Hill scored 18 points each for the Pacers, who dropped to 36-32.
